You never have to apologize for your busy toddler during our time together.

Motherhood was never meant to look perfectly still.

It looks like chasing tiny feet through tall grass.
Sticky fingers wrapped around yours.
Hair tangled by the wind.
A child who cannot stop moving because they are still so new to this world and desperate to experience every piece of it.

& if I’m being honest, the posed versions of them will not be the photographs you reach for. You will miss the way they mispronounced words. The way they experienced and explored life.

Thats what I want to give back to you.
Proof of the love that lived here in the middle of all the movement.
