I get asked this question a lot.

"Do you only photograph weddings?"

The answer is simple, no. Your story doesn't end on your wedding day, this isn't a fictional fairytale. You'll have many other chapters to your story, and I would love to capture them all. ❤️

The beautiful woman above, I've had the privledge of capturing her engagement, wedding, maternity, extended family and newborns. And I can only hope I'll be able to capture many more chapters for them.

What to ask your wedding photographer: Part 1 of 5

This is not your average ‘what to ask your wedding photographer’ post. These are the questions you actually need to know to make sure you’re picking the RIGHT wedding photographer. All photographers will be able to answer the generic questions like, what are your wedding packages, when will I get my photos but how does that make it easier for you to choose?

That's why over the next few weeks I'm going to give you some questions to ask!
How do you direct (pose) your clients?

Why is this important?
Let me paint you a picture. You feel awkward in front of the camera, you don’t know what to do with your hands but you want natural looking photos. If your photographer just gets you to stand and smile at the camera, you’re not going to get those photos. However, if you have a photographer (like me) that uses prompts to make you feel comfortable and natural, your results will be wayyyyyy better.

I go even further for my clients. I use my own combination of posing and prompts to make sure you have fun, look natural and feel comfortable. No more awkward photos.

The blossoms are coming!

I often get asked when the best time to book blossom photos is. Honestly, there is no perfect answer. The blossoms bloom when they are ready and some years are really unpredictable. However, the safest time is usually the third week of May.

My tip:
Have a flexible schedule for booking them! Maybe pencil a couple of options into your calendar to make sure you’re available.
