Jennie and Jessie’s wedding was a masterclass in not taking things too seriously. From the quiet moments in the barn to a full-on prehistoric pursuit in the trees, this day had everything.

November snow and a mountain-sized “yes.” 🏔️

When Francisco dropped to one knee, the Alberta air got a whole lot heavier with emotion and the Spanish started flowing. I’ll be honest, standing there behind the lens, I was definitely lacking the subtitles. But you don’t need a translator to recognize the raw joy in a breathless “¡Sí! ¡Sí!” or the way the world seems to narrow down to two people in the middle of a chilly mountain range.

Capturing moments like these, where language comes secondary to the feeling, is exactly why I do what I do.
From this freezing mountain surprise to their August 2026 wedding, I’m honored to be the one documenting this chapter of their story.

We’re trading the winter coats for wedding attire, and I can’t wait.
