Liza’s passion for photography started at a very young age, when she was able to hold her Dad’s SLR film camera. Born in the concrete jungle of Johannesburg, South Africa, she relocated to the beaut

iful Cape Town 21 years ago and with her passion for nature and animals, Cape Town became her creative playground. After matriculating, Liza gained further experience in Photography, design, sales and marketing & ultimately lead to her completing her Culture Tour Guiding Qualification in 2015. Being completely new to the tourism industry, her passion for people, nature and creative background of photography made the choice easy to start specializing in Photographic Tours. Besides photography, Liza has a big love for animals of all kind, and currently increasing her knowledge through completing her FGASA nature guiding studies. "With the ongoing changes in the world and industries, right now focussing on my creativity has never been more fun."

This was a while ago when we went out on a morning Safari in the beautiful Chobe National Park Botswana. This little one just feasted on a kill with his Mom, hence the dirty face and full tummy look. After returning to Mom, a long snooze was on the cards. Like the saying goes, "tummy full, eyes closed". 😉

The Knysna turaco (Tauraco corythaix) is species of turaco that lives in the woods and mature evergreen forests of Southern and Eastern Africa. On our last visit to the beautiful Garden route area I managed to capture this beautiful bird. Those colours are a perfect camouflage against the Tsitsikama forest background.

Isn't it just the best feeling when you go through your pictures and suddenly you are taken back in an instant to that exact moment, that exact feeling...
This was one late afternoon in the Kruger National Park and we were on a Safari, having such a beautiful day with the Animals and as we are on our route out, there she is.... the most beautiful backdrop of golden light just shimmering through the trees over the female leopard. This was my official first time seeing a leopard's full body in my career and the excitement and amazement for her beauty, the way my heart pounded with aaw, something that will always make me smile when i see this picture.
