It was 2018 when we started talking about this day. And when it finally came, it was so surreal! The weather was not going to make this an easy experience, though I'm not sure why we expected anything to be easy. Despite the wait, and the difficult weather, and the crazy travel,this has been the most AMAZING trip! And a huge part of that was the happiness that radiated from this adventurous couple.

It's been a minute. A lot has changed since my last post, but one thing has not - my love for adventure and exploring this gorgeous world of ours.

5 years after this dream started, and 1 pandemic later, this is me, fresh off of summiting Ryten during this Norwegian adventure.

Norwegians have a much different scale for rating their hikes - in no way was this an 'easy - moderate' hike lol. But the views were stunning, just like everything here has been.

I'll share more soon - for now, I'm soaking up every minute of this beautiful country.

Just wrapped an After Session in the mountains with these two amazing humans. After their amazing wedding around Edmonton, they invited their close family and friends to the mountains for an extended party - what an awesome way to keep the wedding festivities rolling!
We skipped out for a few hours to frolic in the cool fall evening, finding gorgeous mountain views and watching the sun slowly set. It was a beautiful night.

Sunset, golden hour, blue hour...whatever you want to call it - the light at the end of the day can be GORGEOUS. We were able to sneak out of the wedding reception for a couple minutes and it was soooo worth it! It had rained most of the day, but the clouds passed just in time for some beautiful sunlight to shine through. Well done, nature!!!..

Finally getting around to posting this wedding on my site. Shot this in and around Victoria, and fell in love with the scenery! I mean...the sunset!!! Anyone thinking of an elopement or destination wedding, check out the entire post on my site. And definitely, anyone wanting to go to Victoria - LET'S TALK! ..
The only way we were able to capture this image was by including an After Session with the wedding coverage. We did this session the next evening after the wedding, following a nice long sleep in morning, and allowing us to travel a little further away and take advantage of the gorgeous sunset light. ..

It's the way he looks at her. And her at him, too. It's in the twinkly parts of their eyes, the hugeness of their smiles, the genuine emotions they can't help but show. These two danced and laughed and enjoyed their day completely. And it was perfect. ..
