My absolute favourite photos to capture are the ones where a couple's personality gets to shine through ✨ Especially when we're in a location that is less traditional. I'm always open to new ideas and locations that better fit what makes you and your partner unique.

I am pleased to announce that the lovely and talented Rebecca Paine has taken over as the Admire Studios Principal Photographer and Manager, after a year of training as my associate photographer. I am proud to pass on my brand to such a worthy woman, and I'd hire her in a heartbeat myself. Rebecca is sharp as a tack, has an adorable laugh, and just like me, she disappears like a ninja when she's shooting an event. She's a cat person, but I can forgive her for that!

Rebecca and I met while were were both students at NAIT, me in events and her in photography. Despite many NAIT students in the past asking me to mentor them through the program's Work Experience component, Rebecca's request was different. She had clearly chosen me because she wanted a business like mine, and upon meeting her I very much liked her - she reminded me of my younger self. It was with my heart in my throat after pouring myself into my brand for over a decade that I asked if maybe she wanted me to pass the torch to her - and to our mutual delight, the time was right for us both.

If you are looking for a photographer whose vision and work ethic match - even exceed - mine, as I personally think Rebecca is even more talented than I was when I started my career, I highly recommend continuing to choose Admire Studios.

Get creative, collaborative, and conceptual with other photographers at The Headshot Roundtable Experience! You'll have fun coming up with creative headshot ideas with photographers of all ages and experience levels. This event offers the best opportunity to update your own headshots and learn from the techniques and gear used by others. The experience includes unique networking opportunities, ample space with different tableaus and backdrops, lighting options, and various models with no prior experience. You may bring lighting, but some continuous lighting will be provided.

A refundable $5 deposit to encourage attendance and signing the contract is all you need to register.
