Bruce Photo Arts Black and White Analogue Photography by David T. E. S. Cooke

All across this great land of Canada we behold the glorious beauty of God's creation and the heritage of faith He has left us. There are so many natural, rural, and rustic scenes, historic structures, lighthouses, churches, and other landmarks that call us to a simpler way of life, and remind us of the rich legacy that we have received from generations past. This is the subject and substance of my

photographic works; and it is my desire that it would be a delight, inspiration, and blessing to you and yours!

Some fun Minox photos from over the Christmas holidays. Shot on Ilford HP5+ 400 ISO film that we had cut to fit the Minox camera. The Minox developing system is remarkably easy, clean, and uses a minimum of chemicals. Results are very predictable and pleasing.

Tried out the Paterson print washer for the first time. Seems to work well. Nice to be able to run a constant, low flow of water to get rid of residual fixer. Poorly washed prints are prone to exhibit yellowish dots and marks over time from the fixer.

Trying out the latest addition to our Mamiya Universal Press Camera - a 250mm zoom lens. Yes, it is as heavy as it looks - it weighs a ton! Looking forward to seeing what this beauty is capable of capturing in the 6x9 120 film format. So far, the 100mm lens has delivered absolutely stunning results.
