Personal Post ✨

I’ve never been one to shy away from speaking about my mental health. While I try to keep this page focused on my photography, I’m all about being open and honest — and the truth is, 2025 has been a really hard year.

Losing a parent is never easy, no matter what kind of relationship you had. Grief is complex, and it has a way of reshaping your world in ways you never expected.

Photography, my passion, took a back seat while I tried to navigate this new reality. I wasn’t sure when — or if — I’d feel ready to pick up my camera again. And when I did, I was scared. Scared I wouldn’t remember what to do. Imposter syndrome hit hard.

But having emily_buchi and marysolway (and their amazing crew) as my first session of the season made the return feel a little lighter. A little more joyful. A little more me again.

And just like that… the spark is back ✨
It felt incredible to hold my camera again and feel that rush of capturing meaningful moments. I’ve missed it — and I’ve missed all of you.

I can’t wait to see what magic we can create this season 💖💖
