Y'all, when I tell you the beach at sunset is my absolute, HANDS DOWN favourite location... THIS is why. Would you believe me if I told you I did not add a single sunflair in editing? Because this photo required nearly no editing at all! The natural beauty of this shot just blows me away! 😍

Yesterday, about 15 minutes into a session, I had my camrea malfunction, and it took about 20 minutes of deep breaths, Google, phone calls and *slight* panic before the issue was resolved. By the time the issue was resolved, we had only a few minutes of daylight, and then I was literally shooting into dusk. I didn't know if a majority of the gallery could be saved with such a high ISO (photographers' language) and almost no light, but alas, we did it! THANK you so much to my amazing, BEAUTIFUL client who was so understanding and went with the flow so well. I've never had a camrea malfunction during a session before, but this was my reminder that I am indeed human and can't always control everything. Anyway, the session turned out beautiful, and I am SO thankful to have this mamma as a client year after year. She is going to be one amazing mamma!

OH MY GOODNESS, IT’S SUMMER VACATION! (At least for my school-aged kiddos!)

That means I am officially done taking newborn clients until September. Summer is such a busy season for our family with my little ones home, so I will be working a lot less over the next couple months.

BUT don’t disappear on me! I will still be keeping an eye out and sharing some summer mini sessions, which will be launching SOON!

I've lost track of how many Mondays in a row I've shot a newborn session now, but I got to switch it up with the CUTEST baby GIRL for today! Out of the last 8 newborns I've done, only 2 have been girls! Naturally, we did bring out the pink! 😂💕🙌
