I asked married couples what they’d do differently on their wedding day — these were the ones that kept popping up:

-Don’t book the cheapest photographer — invest in someone who gives you a meaningful experience and can document your day in a way that feels true to you.

-Don’t choose a photographer based on photos alone — hire someone you like and connect with.

-Hire a planner or day-of coordinator so you can actually experience the day.

-Attend cocktail hour — this is often some couples favourite part of their wedding day.

-The small details won’t matter in the end.

-Smaller celebrations often feel calmer, more connected, and more meaningful.

-Above all, let the day reflect you — it’s not about anyone else.

Your wedding is one day, but your memories last a lifetime. Be present, enjoy each moment, and let it feel like you ♥️🫶🏼
