To me, photography is more than an art; it's an expression of the self, and a way for me to offer up a little piece of my heart to you. Capturing these memories - the beauty in the chaos - is my way of mixing sentiment and acts of service.

I love every session so much, and in the case of this session, I love it because of the love that is so evident in it. and her little family are built on so much love and adoration. It lifted my heart to even chat with them, but capturing that love and preserving it was an honour. 🤍

🤍 The Hunter Family – m y f a m i l y 🤍
This is the family that I made; the family that has built me into what I am today. Parenting while being AuDHD myself, and raising two incredible neurodiverse kids, has taught me more about patience, presence, and seeing beauty in the little things than anything else ever could. It has shaped the way I approach photography; with an eye for honesty, tenderness, and the in-between moments that truly matter.

My specialty in portraits comes from this lived experience; knowing how important it is to be seen and celebrated exactly as you are. Every family, every child, every story deserves to be captured with empathy and care. That is what I hope to give through every session.

This right here is why I love candids. 📸
When we let go of the "say cheese" and lean into real connection, something magic happens. ✨

This is Albert — a little camera-shy, but full of personality once he warms up. During their sunflower mini session, he hopped up on his dad’s shoulders, grabbed his dad’s sunglasses, and I asked him to “switch it up.”

And he did.
Literally.
He flipped the sunglasses upside down and wore them like this — and I just about died from how perfectly him it was. 😂🕶️

These are the moments I live for.
Not staged. Not stiff.
Just joy. Silly, sweet, genuine joy. 💛
