>> Mars is double the size of our Moon, but 200x farther from us.

>> It would take 95 years to travel there at 100 km/h, but only 160 days to reach our Moon at the same speed.

Fire & Water. Tonight's sunset over the confluence of the Pine & the Peace, part of the ancestral land of the Dane-zaa peoples. Today, I learned of the "Dreamers" (Naachiin), the last of which was Charlie Yahey. In their dreams, they were taken to heaven and given visions and songs from the Creator. How much simpler and fulfilling life must have been, having a rooted connection to such a land as this.
