INTRODUCING THE FACE BEHIND THE CAMERA 📸
With so many new faces joining my page lately, I figured it was time to properly introduce myself!
Hi, I'm Zo, photographer, social worker, wife, mama to three amazing boys, tattoo collector, creative soul, and someone who is almost always running on high energy and a to-do list. 😅
Photography is not my full-time job. During the week, you'll find me working as a social worker, advocating for children and youth involved in the child welfare system. This work is incredibly close to my heart. Over the years, I've had the privilege of helping influence positive changes for young people in care, and being a voice for those who often go unheard is something I am deeply passionate about.
Photography happens on my evenings, weekends, and days off. What started as a hobby slowly grew into a small business after my Mama and Tante gifted me my very first Canon camera nearly 13 years ago. Little did any of us know where that camera would take me.
One of my favourite things about photography is capturing people's stories. The big milestones, the quiet moments, the messy, beautiful, real-life memories that deserve to be remembered. As someone who absolutely hates being in front of the camera myself, I understand how vulnerable photos can feel. That's why I put so much effort into making sure you feel comfortable, confident, and genuinely good about your experience and your images.
Truthfully, I don't do this for the money. I do it for the connections, the stories, the laughter, and the memories that families will look back on years from now. In all my years behind the camera, I've never met someone who regretted getting photos done but I've met plenty who wished they had.
A little more about me: I was adopted at 15 years old by the most incredible woman I proudly call Mama. I've been with my husband for almost 12 years, and together we're raising three wild, wonderful boys who keep life exciting.
To my clients both past and present, thank you. Your support has kept me busy all these years, and I am forever grateful for this little community we've built together. Whether you've trusted me to capture your wedding, your newborn, your family, or simply a chapter of your story, thank you for allowing me to be a small part of it.
And to everyone new here, welcome! I'm so happy you're here.
I can't wait to continue creating memories with old clients, meet new faces, and tell more stories through my lens.
📸 On that note... I am currently fully booked until Fall 2026!
Thank you for being here and supporting this little dream of mine. ❤️
