Rushing is the fastest way to steal the magic from your day.

Build in buffer time - more than you think you need.
Extra minutes between getting ready, first look, ceremony… all of it.

Because when you’re not watching the clock, everything changes. You breathe deeper. You laugh more. You’re actually in it.

And that’s when the photos go from “nice” to the ones that feel like you.

The best moments aren’t scheduled, they happen in the in-between 🤍

Ran around downtown Nelson with these two for their annual session and honestly… they make my job way too easy 😂❤️ Their chemistry is unreal, so photographing them is basically a guaranteed win every time.

And would you believe this all went down during a night market?! The streets were PACKED…but somehow we still found the magic spots and made it look like we had the whole town to ourselves ✨

Just over here hanging in there — editing my little heart out on so many incredible galleries!

This past summer (and now fall!) has been an absolute whirlwind of amazing, which means posting has definitely taken a back seat. Shooting and editing have been front and center lately… and on the home front, BOTH kids decided to join hockey this year 🏒 so that’s added a whole new layer of chaos — the best kind, though! It’s been so fun watching them out on the ice learning the good ol’ hockey game.

I promise I’ll be back soon to share all the beautiful sessions and weddings I’ve been lucky enough to capture over these last couple of months. Stay tuned! ✨
