I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this family more times than I can count in the 17 years I’ve known them. I always say that I’m so honoured to be asked to photograph a family the first time, but being asked back again is truly the biggest blessing. Thank you J&S for welcoming me into your home time and time again and for trusting me to capture your kids as they’ve grown from infants to teenagers!

Capturing this adorable family takes me back to the beginning… and it reminded me how much I’ve missed this style of photography!

A portable studio set-up with the simplicity of a white backdrop and complete focus on the connections between parents and their children… all in the comfort of their own homes! This is where I started with photography and I’m so excited to be back in these private home spaces again!

"Having a daughter is God’s way of saying 'Thought you could use a lifelong friend'". I don’t know who wrote this sweet quote, but I certainly agree! My own daughter is an incredible gift and a beautiful friend and I’m so thankful for her every day. Feeling this way makes the opportunity to photograph other Mother-Daughter relationships so very special. Spending time with these two amazing women was so much fun and I adored capturing their smiles and love for one another!
