House93 Artistic Photography

House93 Artistic Photography House93 creates artistic photography in newborn, baby, children and portrait photography. We are parents to three unique children and one little white dog.

We are happily married and madly in love, wanting to share our love of art with the world. Whether it is photography, paintings on canvas, makeup or body paint, we anxiously await our upcoming projects. Currently we reside in the rustic little town of Aylmer, Quebec and love the atmosphere here. We originally met at our job as dispatchers, for the Ottawa Paramedic Service. Working together under pressure has taught us the essentials of team work, perseverance and patience.

In this portrait, as part of my new Fine Art Portraiture series, is where classical influence meets contemporary spirit.

Drawing from Old Masters painting, painted skin motifs act as visual echoes of art history, layered gently onto childhood rather than imposed upon it. At four years old, Mini C already carries an unmistakable presence: determined, curious, and subtly defiant in the way only children unfiltered by expectation can be.

This work explores contrast.
Innocence and intensity, softness and resolve, capturing a moment of becoming, where identity is already quietly taking shape✨

Another chapter added to my Fine Art portrait collection 🤍
My beautiful baby girl. No longer a baby, growing faster than my heart can keep up with. Watching her soften into herself, stretch into her strength, and quietly become a young woman is the greatest masterpiece I’ll ever witness.
Time, please be gentle. ✨

A little piece of my heart 🤍
I’m so excited to share my new portfolio: Fine Art Portrait Photography; a blend of contemporary vision and
old-masters inspiration.
These portraits are about stillness, depth, and celebrating our inner strength - the quiet power we carry within.

Grateful to finally let this work be seen.

Happy Birthday to me!
Thank you to my husband for my first (hopefully not last😝)
Authentic Eames House Bird Sculpture
He is beautiful, majestic and as black like my soul 🖤

The story of the Eames House Bird is less a story of Charles and Ray Eames and more one of Charles and Edna Perdew. This husband and wife team from Henry, Illinois,
passed on their gun repair business to their son in the 1930s and dedicated themselves to carving and painting bird decoys for hunters.
A simple black bird Perdew carved
around 1910 became a highly sought-after model by quite a different audience in the 1950s, primarily for its minimal shape and dark colour.
It was popularized by Charles
and Ray Eames, who acquired one on their travels in the Appalachian Mountains. The wooden bird became a centre piece of the Eames living room and soon started to
make an appearance in many of their product photo-shoots. It can even be seen in a 1952 cover of the Architectural Review, a solid shape among a grid created by Eames
chairs. Source - Vitra, desighcraft, Design Classic: Eames House Bird
