25.December.2016
Abuja, Nigeria

When my husband was about nine years old, he and his siblings received a foosball table for Christmas. We decided to continue the tradition. We gave them the balls first, then the table.

I've post only once since this time last year. Hopefully you haven't all forgotten about me. My goal for this year is to post daily --or almost daily-- making an effort to go through my archive and share some of the images from the last year.

It's been ages since I shared anything here, thanks to a little accident involving three rowdy kids, a glass of water, and my laptop... but let's not dredge that back up, shall we?

Over the next little while, I'd like to share with you some images from a local IDP (Internally Displaced People) Camp about an hour from where we live. It is a really unique "interfaith" community.

First up are these little guys who were some of the first to welcome us to the community. They are in front of the administration building, which is also used to hold one of the makeshift classrooms for the children.

I posted this on my personal FB, but want to share it here, too.
