Got this shot of an Osprey today while hiking. This majestic bird was scanning a nearby pond for fish. My camera is slow at focusing so it took awhile to get a clear shot. I feel blessed to live in a place with so much amazing wildlife around me

Spotted black terns for the first time yesterday. These dapper looking seabirds build floating nests on the water. The marshlands in Point Pelee provided ample space for these birds to nest. Unfortunately their numbers are declining in Ontario due to the loss of marsh habitats and pollution.

Spotted so many barn swallows today! While these cool looking birds can be found on nearly every continent, they are becoming a threatened species in Canada. It was great to be able to see them up close today while visiting Point Pelee National Park.
