📸 A Murder of Crows
Up past the big fiddle near the armories in Sydney, NS is where all the crows of Cape Breton Island live I'm sure of it! As I was taking the more scenic route with my mother I stopped dead center in the road, rolled down my window and started talking to all crows. "Hello crows, helllloooo" ( In my best Mrs. Doubtfire voice) I had to get out and take pictures! I've never seen so many crows in my life and on both sides of the street. Standing in admiration, in front of my headlights, I started hearing these smacking sounds like someone was spitting but noone was around just me and mom. At this point she thinks I've lost my mind but I continue to look up twirling around loving every minute becoming one with the crows. It was at that moment I realized I must have startled them because the spitting sound I was hearing was actually bird s**t. They all started s**tting everywhere all over the road, my vehicle it was litterly raining s**t! I ran back to the car, jumped in, rolled up all the windows yelled "WASN'T THAT AMAZING"!!! Mom turns slowly and just stares at me..."Now thats what I call", A Murder of Crows!

📸 Take the Plunge
• The arrow is pointing this way to take the plunge! For many, this was and still is a local swimming spot in Tablehead. The beaten down path that leads right to the refreshing, chilled, sunkissed ocean. All you gotta do is jump! Just dive right in...I know it's easier said than done but once you start taking the steps, baby steps even, it becomes easier and easier. Don't be afraid, stop letting ego get in the way, have faith and Take the Plunge.

📸 Ancestors
• Over the years we get washed away and erode like the cliffs of Tablehead shore and over time the ocean beats down layers of sediment to create something new. In this case, a Native Indian shaped face was formed. The headdress is a symbol known for its strength and bravery. A sign to remind us all that we are constantly changing. We are warriors of our own self evolving into something new everyday. As the past washes away, remember to stand tall, look forward and be brave like our Ancestors.

📸 Brighter Days Ahead
• The ocean was viciously cold but the sun was shining bright on this beautiful, windy Saturday morning at Tablehead shore. Even though it looks so cold and rough on the outside its how it feels on the inside that radiates true energy. Funny how a mood can change your whole environment so easily that it's contagious. Surround yourself with people that match your energy because even when you feel down in the dumps your tribe will be there to pick you right back up and remind you there are Brighter Days Ahead.

📸 The Fiddlehead
• Did you know fiddleheads are a central figure in Maori art, also known as “Koru”, meaning peace, tranquility and spirituality, along with new growth and new beginnings. I think these may become my new favorite fern! In times like this it can be hard to focus but also in times like this we can find ourselves, our true selves. I wish you all new growth and new beginnings. Wake up each day grateful and unwind like the Fiddlehead.

📸 Love and Peace
• Even in the darkest places love can be found...Now I don't mean go find a dark tunnel and wait for love to find you. Screw that! I mean even when you hit rock bottom and you think you lost all hope or if you feel anxious, tired and scared with nowhere to turn and everything becomes so dark, this is where love can be found. Look within, amongst the darkness and find that little spark. Dig for it, light it and feel it grow, it's there trust me. Love yourself so damn hard that everything around you looks as bright and colorful as this picture. This is when you overcome all the darkest places. This is Love and Peace.
