It's world photography day today, and I thought I'd show one of the more unusual sights I've seen in one of my photos.
First photo is of water hitting the breakwall building, launching water into the air high enough to create a shadow in the air!
How is this possible? What we're seeing are very fine droplets of water spray that aren't getting hit by sunlight because of the height of the wave.
Another shot points out the shadow for anyone who can't quite see it.
Lastly I included another shot from the same day, but with different post-processing. I did that because Facebook doesn't handle 2 photos very well. lol 😎 Oh yea, it also shows how conditions can change, a shot, and how post-processing can also influence a shot a lot.
