I’m really excited to be teaming up with Abby Acres Private Dog Park to bring you something a little different. 🐾

On September 28th, I’ll be offering a limited number of 30 minute photo sessions at their private, fully fenced off-leash park! (Approx. 25 minutes from Grande Prairie.)

The goal of these sessions are to keep things relaxed and natural; your dog gets opportunities to sniff, explore, run around and be themselves untethered while I capture those little moments along the way. I’ll also give you some guidance and help with positioning when needed, so we can get a mix of candid moments and beautiful portraits.

These limited fall sessions would be perfect for simply your dog, you and your dog, couples, or the whole family. Humans are always welcome (& encouraged) to join their pets! 🤍

Hey pals 👋 I have been a little MIA on here recently as I finalize some plans for our upcoming doggy carnival: What The Puplooza!! 🥳

If you haven't seen it, on Sunday Sept 6th from 11-4, I will be co-hosting this event with the lovely crew at What The Pup Grooming; there will be Dog Trivia, Bingo, Fashion Show, Hotdog Bobbing, Local Vendors and much more! 👏 I hope to see you there! 🐾

“Echo has been a reactive girl right from 8 month old her muzzle opened up the world of simple things most dog owners do with out a second thought. Something as simple as going for a walk in the park or around town we needed the muzzle for her protection as well as others while we worked on her issues with our trainer. I did find once she was muzzle trained both her and I had more confidence especially in situations where she would usually have a reacton. Now in current days we need the muzzle alot less but it’s still always with us just in case.”

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒂𝒄𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂 𝒎𝒖𝒛𝒛𝒍𝒆?
“A year after completely muzzle training Echo we participated in our first Zulu K9 Challenge which is a 5k obsticle course run that year there where 20 other handler teams participating Echo handled the environment perfectly with out and reactive episodes in relatively close proximity to other k9 teams.”

𝑻𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒖𝒔 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒂 𝒎𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒛𝒆𝒅 𝒂 𝒎𝒖𝒛𝒛𝒍𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒅𝒐𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒆.
“This one is a harder question to answer as the muzzle just seems like its been a natural tool in our journey but if I was to pick our biggest we did it moment I think I would have to say it was when Echo was able to get a professional grooming done it was a simple bath and sanitary trim but the fact that the groomer who had never met Echo before was able to do the complete groom without me present and no problems what so ever with Echo muzzled was big for us that day was definitely our we made it moment.”

A little more background on Echo:
“I got Echo at 2 month old up until the age of about 7 or 8 months old she was your typical puppy but then out of nowhere that changed and she became extremely reactive to humans and dogs outside of my family. It was around this time I found out that the farmer who had bred Echo had bred a reactivity female to reactive male and from what I could trace Echo is the sole survivor because I was too stubborn to give up on this dog and thankfully was able to find a great trainer to work with. Echo is now 6 year old and we have spent practically all our time together training and managing her reactivity which is almost nonexistent now. I will manage this girls reactivity until the day I help her cross the Rainbow Bridge but im happy her reactions are far and few between now compared to the past.”
