Wow — I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for all the love and support over the past few days! Your encouragement, loyalty, and willingness to wait or travel for sessions has truly meant the world to me…TRULY.
With so much change happening — and new faces following along — I wanted to share a little about the heart behind Inspired Lens Photography.
In 2017, I lost my dad. Life was overwhelming: two babies under two, a husband starting a new job, and preparing for my dad to move in with us for his final days. But he passed away before he ever made it.
The night before he died, I wrote him a letter — everything I never said out loud. I never got the chance to read it to him. But he left me his camera, something that was deeply special to him.
For a long time, picking it up was too painful. But eventually, it became my way of staying connected to him. And slowly, Inspired Lens was born — inspired by him and the gift he left me, and by a desire from within - as a person and teacher - to help people, to create a safe a comfortable experience, and create something real and lasting. It was never just about taking pictures. It was about creating an experience for people and giving them something that mattered.
Over the years, the equipment has changed. The business has grown. But the heart behind it all has stayed the same.
And today, as we prepare to leave a home we thought we might live in forever, I’m filled with gratitude — Gratitude that somehow, even through all the changes, the heart behind Inspired Lens has made an impact.
Gratitude that you see the care, the patience, the quality, and the dedication I pour into every session.
Gratitude that you trust me enough to continue this journey with me, wherever it leads.
Thank you for being part of my story. I can’t wait to keep capturing yours.
