Hi everybody. I have spent the last 4 mornings photographing spring- fresh green colour in the aspens particularly. The first image in this post was made yesterday under largely overcast conditions. But the sun peeked through briefly and I saw the potential for backlighting and green reflections. Sadly it did not last long. Further complicating matters was a rather annoying wind riffling the water. Second photo. I decided to return this morning when conditions were more favourable. Sunny and calm. Only about 25 (scenic) km to return to this locale butI was rewarded. I think it is important to visualize the image and make plans to phoyograph the best conditions, even if one needs to return to the locale.
