I laughed the moment I walked into Lucy’s newborn session.
We’d just had a big snowfall that morning + dad was apologizing for not clearing the driveway.

When you have a 7-day-old at home, I think you get a free pass 😂

Everything about this session felt slow and sweet. No rushing, just soaking in those early days exactly as they are.

It rained on and off all day, but Melodie + Peter carried this ease about them. Like nothing could touch how excited they were to get married.

The ones you’d sit around a bonfire with, lose track of time at game night, or just naturally gravitate toward in a crowded room.

And Julia… she really is sunshine in human form. She brings this happy, easy energy with her everywhere she goes 🧡

Some homes hold entire lifetimes inside them 🏡

This was their last Thanksgiving in the house that’s been “home” for so long. Family made the trip from all over Canada just to make sure everyone was together.

One day they’ll look back at these photos and be SO grateful they have them 🤍
