The snow may be (almost) gone, but this session felt too special not to share 🤍

This winter maternity session with Andrea and Liam (and their adorable golden who stole the show), was filled with so much anticipation as they awaited their baby girl. We ended the session with something especially meaningful — Andrea changed into a beautiful pink sweater her grandma had knitted before she passed. A quiet, beautiful way to carry her love into this next chapter.

Baby brother — already so loved 🤍

It feels like just yesterday we were capturing Kassandra & Andrew’s maternity session, and two days later their sweet boy made his quick and perfect arrival into the world.

This newborn session was so gentle and full of love. The soft snuggles, the quiet moments, and big sister absolutely soaking up her new role, loving on her baby brother the entire time. This morning was so special.

It’s such an honour to be invited into these first days at home, documenting the beginning of a story that’s only just unfolding 🕊️

A little life update🤍

If you’ve noticed things have been a little quiet around here, it’s because behind the scenes our family has been growing. The first trimester had me slowing down more than expected (surviving on mostly bagels and Diclectin 🫠), but I’m so happy to share that finally at the halfway mark, I'm feeling so much better, and we couldn’t be more excited to be welcoming another little love into our family this July 🕊️

With the energy coming back to me and the sun finally starting to come out (hello spring?!?), I’m enthusiastically stepping back into this virtual space and I can’t wait to start sharing all the beautiful sessions I’ve had the honour of capturing over the past few months. Thank you for being here, for your patience, and for supporting this little dream of mine through every season 🤎

Hi, I’m Victoria — the heart, hands, and slightly sleep-deprived brain behind Victoria Nicole Photography 🤍

I’m a maman to two little boys (who are 3 & 1), married to my best friend in a true “when you know, you know” kind of love — and thanks to him, I’m also a Buffalo Bills fan by marriage (Sundays are for Josh Allen 🙏)

I’m an empath through and through, the type who tears up at anything heart-warming (a sibling kissing their newborn baby brother or sister? grandparents holding hands? I’m done for😭)

Creativity has been a part of me forever: I love thrifting (you can never have too many frames or baskets, right?!), interior design, DIY-ing, and scrapbooking — basically a nostalgic grandma trapped in a millennial’s body. I love finding little ways to create magic in the everyday, especially for my boys. I’m also a Grade 4 teacher on maternity leave, which means my life right now is equal parts messy activities, snack negotiations, rough-and-tumble play, and documenting families in their most meaningful seasons 💌

I’m sentimental, I care deeply, and I truly believe the ordinary moments are the ones you’ll want to remember most. If you’re looking for a photographer who will hype you up, gently guide you, match your energy (or jump around crazily to make your kiddos laugh), and document your story with attention and care… hi, it’s me ✨

This maternity session with Kassandra & Andrew was such a joy to photograph. They arrived ready to laugh, be fully themselves, and share all the excitement and anticipation they’ve been feeling as they step into this next season of life.

And the sweetest twist? Baby boy must have felt all that excitement too, because he decided to make his early arrival just days after we took these photos. 🕊️

I’m so grateful I got to document this season of anticipation… and then meet their little one less than a week later. What an honour it was to capture both sides of their story 🤍

An afternoon well spent with the sweetest family - The Pilons🌿

Lexie and I met in university, so it was extra special to photograph her and her growing family in this busy, beautiful season of life. We spent the afternoon exploring the forest — finding the “perfect magic stick,” listening to a Disney soundtrack, and soaking in the golden light before the (dreaded) time change.

My very favourite love story — one worth remembering 🤍

I called my grandparents, and they showed up. And I’ve since realized how deeply blessed I am that this has always been the case.

On a quiet Monday evening, I asked my Grand-mère and Grand-père to come over so I could practice with a new lens, take their photos in the field behind my house, and capture them just as they are — playful, loving, and devoted.

These two have shaped the person I am in more ways than I can count. I’ve lived with them a few times throughout my life, and their love has always been an inspiration — the soft, steady kind. They truly are the heartbeat of our family.

Married for 55 years, they’re the kind of couple that feels straight out of The Notebook. They met one night by fate — both engaged to other people — but somehow, they just knew. They chose each other, and they’ve been choosing each other ever since. Their story is one I’ll hold close to my heart, always. 🕊
