Well, here we go again… it’s time for another school year. 🎒

Looking back at these two photos is a pretty good reminder of just how quickly they grow up. One year they’re little, and before you know it, they’ve changed right before your eyes.

After almost 50 years of photographing weddings, it’s pretty special to find a new place that makes you stop and take it all in.

Honestly, I hope it’s not our last. What a beautiful place to get married!

Maybe we don’t need to be in such a hurry for them to grow up.

Let them play pretend. Let them dress up. Let them believe in a little bit of magic.

Because one day, they’ll outgrow the wings and the fairy dresses, and you’ll wish you could go back to this version of them for just a little while.

That’s what I love about fairy photos. They give kids a chance to be completely lost in their imagination, while we get to capture a little piece of that childhood to keep.
