I don't toot my own horn very often, but check it out: my photo is on the cover of a JUNO AWARD winning album!

HUGE congratulations to Bravo Niagara Festival of the Arts (Christine Mori and Alexis Spieldenner) on the recent JUNO AWARDS win by Kimiko's Pearl! I'm SO PROUD of you two ladies. You have worked so hard to bring your many visionary projects to life. This is such a well deserved accolade.

How cool to have my work featured on the cover of the eponymous Kimiko's Pearl Limited Edition Double Vinyl!

If you missed it in 2024, be sure to get your tickets should it come around again. This is a seminal piece of Canadian-Japanese storytelling that portrays the plight of one Canadian Japanese family, from their arrival in Canada, to their internment during WWII. With novel, award nominated creations spanning music, choreography, dance, costume design and visual artwork, it is truly an honour to have been a small part of this project.

Throw back to the last CPA Ontario event before covid: A nice clean group portrait of all the Fellows being honoured that year. Shooting groups is a distinct skill in photography and something I rather excel at.

Unfortunately, events have not really returned in the same way since covid. Organizations went virtual with many events, and many bought cameras and equipment so that in-house staff could do socials and media instead.

If your organization DOES need a seasoned professional, I would love to talk and create top tier images and assets for you!

The luminescent, Grace Learn! I was so impressed by this young doctoral student. She will be submitting her CaRMS for residency placement, and came to see me for some updated portraits. Our healthcare is in good hands if we have more like her to take care of us.

I did a full headshot session with Javan this week. We accomplished several looks in the studio over the course of an hour. Here are 4 of my favourite, taking him from formal and professional to a more relaxed and artistic vibe.

Here are just a few of the fresh faces from the Ridgeview Realty Group, who was in my studio last week. We did 2 backgrounds for each individual as well as a team photo. The team brought pizza, wine and beer... we cocked some tunes... it was a total vibe!
