There's no rush during a newborn session. We take our time, make sure baby is happy and comfortable, and stop for cuddles or feeds whenever needed.⁠

It is so rare for a mom to just sit still.⁠

By the time most moms come to me, they haven't had their photo taken in years. They're running on no sleep, holding everyone else together.⁠

So here's what I do. Christine does your hair and makeup. The wardrobe is ready. I guide every pose. And in the middle of it all, there's this moment, where you're just holding your baby, connecting with your family, cared for, present, not managing a single thing.⁠

That's the moment I'm really there for. The photos are just how you get to keep it. 🤍⁠

This is Christine, our hair and makeup artist, stylist, and resident hype woman. Before you ever step in front of the camera, she's the one making you feel like the best version of yourself.

Not to be dramatic, but you grew this whole entire person from scratch.⁠

The behind-the-scenes nobody sees (phone crash included).⁠

Before a single photo is taken, this room gets transformed. The curtains close for soft, cozy light. The beanbag comes out, layered with a heating pad and blankets so baby stays warm and sleepy. The heater goes on. Diapers, wipes, a change pad, all ready and within reach.⁠

By the time you and your baby arrive, everything is set.

Warm, calm, and waiting. Nothing for you to bring, nothing to figure out.⁠

Because a newborn session should feel like exhaling, and that starts before you ever walk through the door.⁠

Booking newborn photos when you already have two little ones at home? Here's your reminder that it's completely doable.⁠

While mom got her hair and makeup done, we started with just baby girl, all those tiny, quiet newborn details that go by so fast.⁠

Then Dad & the brothers arrived. And yes, there was wiggling, a few "can we be done now" moments, and a lot of energy. That's normal. That's real life with three kids.⁠

Our job is to roll with all of it. We follow the kids' lead, keep it calm, and catch the real moments in between, the ones you'll want to remember forever.⁠
