looking back on k&e whimsical summer wedding.

These two have always gone above and beyond for the people they love, and they’re never at a loss for words when it comes to expressing just how much those relationships mean to them. Their wedding was centred around that very value, surrounding themselves with their closest family and friends and inviting them to walk alongside them into this next chapter as newlyweds.

As for me, I find myself short on words when trying to express how grateful I am to have witnessed so many chapters of their story. Documenting this one was truly an honour.

bits and pieces of Portugal on film 🎞️

hope you don’t mind sharing a bit of travel and personal work amongst weddings and family. 🥹

spending 10 days; from slowing down at the beach along the Algarve to the hustle of the city in Lisbon. Meeting so many incredible people from around the world on the tours we joined, getting to know restaurant owners, or heart to hearts with locals over dinner- traveling is such a beautiful privilege

As per usual- if love last navigating & driving the downtown streets of Europe in a manual it’s meant to be 😅

This is what it looks like when love is a celebration. two people surrounded by everyone they love, doing exactly what they want.

My story with K&H began a couple of years ago, when I slid into their DMs (thanks to a mutual friend)… step one in convincing them to let me tag along in their world, basically as a hopeful third-wheel photographer.

When they reached out for engagement photos, I squealed. They weren’t even sure they were “good in front of the camera,” but by the end of that evening, it felt like we’d known each other forever. And of course—the photos? chef’s kiss (as you’ve seen).

I remember asking what they were doing for their wedding photographer… and maybe (very casually) planting the idea that having someone there to document it all would be something they’d never regret.

Fast forward to their wedding day

As a photographer and a friend; they let me into a piece of their story. Their timeline, their people
There was trust, there was vulnerability.
& in that space, their photos became a true reflection of who they are.

Watching their families come together, seeing their friends feel everything right alongside them, and that moment they saw each other for the first time

the way K&H just melted into each other
, it was all so real.

somehow, it all feels bigger than anything I could put into words.
