truly the most beautiful summer day with riley & austin.

Two people who love everyone with such big hearts and will always bring you in for the biggest hugs. It was so special to not only witness so much love and shared emotion throughout their day, but to be included so effortlessly into their family and friends.

I swear the universe has a funny way of bringing certain people into our lives who feel like old friends from the very beginning.

The Martinos just a few bits and pieces from their perfect August day at Southwood Estates.

One of the sweetest parts of their wedding journey from the start was when we spoke about why they chose their day; they shared that it was the same wedding date as their late Nonno and Nonna- making it especially meaningful and truly meant to be.

And, of course, the best part about having a last name that your iPhone insists on correcting to “Martinis”? You basically have no choice but to make espresso martinis your signature drink.🍸

just a bunch of good doggos on wedding days

one day late on but it should be every day anyways

if you are ever ‘on the fence’ about whether or not to include your pup on a wedding day let this by the sign you need.

Seeing dogs involved from the start of morning prep, ceremony, maybe just a quick appearance for photos, or MY dogs favourite- treats and gifts to take home- is the best. So many perfect ways to honour your bestie and what works best for them!

Back in the day my first clients & models were dogs and their humans it always feels like a full circle moment to be able to find a way to have them included on a wedding day.

Sarah & Jake 🌸

July weddings in Ontario really do bring a little bit of everything. Their wedding at Fieldstone in Elora started with first looks in the rain, gave us a healthy dose of Ontario humidity, and ended the night with the most perfect golden hour.

Their day was full of the people who have been part of their story through all different seasons of life, including great company who made the trip across the pond to celebrate with them. There was plenty of laughter, a few happy tears, a signature cocktail or two, and the kind of energy that make it hard to leave at the end of the night

I can’t wait to share more from Sarah & Jake’s July wedding - for now enjoy a sneak peak into their story

when I first met these two, our conversations centred much more on the people they love than on timelines or lists of posed photos.

they told me they wanted a wedding that felt comfortable, a day where they could be present, join cocktail hour, hug their people, and laugh & dance with them. They wanted their guests to feel loved, not just invited.

that’s exactly what happened.

they were married at Stonewall Estates, a place they stumbled upon during a date day and instantly knew this was where they wanted to begin their chapter.

Every part of the day reflected who they are, from the friends who celebrated them with the biggest hugs after every moment to their families, who showed up with the kind of love you could feel in every room.

And one of the most thoughtful gestures of the day?

Every guest found a handwritten letter waiting for them.

A reminder that every person there mattered.

Megan & Alex created a day that was not only beautiful, but, more importantly, truly felt like them.

honest, warm, and vibrant.
