Here is your Derby Wrap-up For Monday July 13th, 2026

An exciting two days July 11th and 12th at The Fresh and The Furious 2026 Tournaments. Lots of exciting games trackside this past weekend with a couple of very close bouts, the highlights of which include The Skateful Hogs and Renegade Rookies in Game 6 of Day One in a 71 to 70 nail bitter that had the crowd still calling for One More Jam and Game 8 that saw Pier Pressure play to a close 58 to 55 final against the DRRDy Toxins. These two bouts as well as the JRDA Canada Championship Game and the final game of Day Two seeing team RoDEO taking on Eagle Beaver were all the more memorable games in recent history of the Tournament. We are off to Sudbury, Ontario this coming weekend for a great double header Home Season Closer with NCRD Nickel City Roller Derby as their two games see their B Team take on their neigbour from just down the Trans Canada Hwy, Nipissing Roller Derby and their A Team taking on the visiting Niagara Roller Derby.

Finished checking all the gear for this weekend (cameras, lenses, batteries, cables, memory cards, camera settings, streaming settings and even the two tablets that double check everything behind the scenes.) Even a list of shots and footage to be sure we capture this weekend. Fresh has always been an important tournament and this year we want to make this one special.
