Mississauga City Hall weddings continue to surprise me with how beautiful and personal they can be.
When Brittany and Adrian contacted me, they wanted something a little different from a traditional city hall wedding. Instead of a quick ceremony and a few portraits, they planned a full wedding day that included getting-ready photos, family moments, their civil ceremony, and an extended portrait session around Mississauga City Hall.
The grand staircases, elegant architecture, and beautiful fountain created an amazing backdrop for documenting their story while keeping everything intimate and relaxed.
Thank you, Brittany and Adrian, for allowing me to be part of such a wonderful celebration.

The Best Stories Never End With "I Do." ❤️

One of the greatest joys of being a wedding photographer is realizing that the wedding day is often just the beginning.

Years ago, I had the privilege of photographing this wonderful couple's engagement session and wedding day. Since then, I've celebrated each new chapter with them—capturing their children's first birthdays, watching their family grow from two to five, and creating new memories together along the way. I was even honoured to photograph the groom's sister's wedding, making the story even more special.

Moments like these remind me that photography is about so much more than beautiful images. It's about relationships built on trust, and the privilege of being invited back to document life's biggest milestones.

One of the greatest privileges of my career has been watching wedding couples become families.".

Some stories begin with "I do."
The best ones continue for a lifetime. ❤️

Some engagement sessions are memorable because of the location. Others because of the couple.
Meaghan and Daniel's Engagement at RC Harris Water Treatment had both.
We planned every detail—from the time of day and outfit changes to how we would move through different lighting conditions. Starting with the beautiful architecture of RC Harris Water Treatment, we finished the evening with golden-hour beach photos, sunset colours, and Toronto's skyline after dark.
Watching everything come together exactly as planned reminded me why preparation is so important in creating meaningful engagement photos.
Thank you, Meaghan and Daniel, for an amazing afternoon together.

The Little Ones Who Make the Biggest Memories ❤️

Every wedding has its unforgettable moments, and some of the most heartwarming belong to the youngest members of the celebration.

Watching a flower girl and ring bearer walk down the aisle is more than a cherished tradition. It's a reminder that a wedding isn't just about two people—it's about families coming together and creating memories that will be shared for generations. Their excitement, innocence, and genuine smiles have a way of filling the day with laughter and joy that no one can script.

After photographing weddings for more than 25 years, I've learned that these seemingly small moments often become some of the most treasured memories. They happen in an instant, yet they have a way of touching everyone—from the groom waiting at the altar to the guests watching with smiles on their faces.

Sometimes, the smallest footsteps leave the biggest footprints on a wedding day. ❤️

Some wedding venues immediately feel special the moment you arrive, and CJ Country Events in Rockwood is one of them.
Andrea and Rafael planned an intimate micro wedding surrounded by family, their beautiful daughter, and the peaceful countryside. From arriving in a horse carriage to their emotional ceremony by the pond and ending with a first dance beneath the stars, every moment felt relaxed, elegant, and incredibly meaningful.
This wedding reminded me why I love intimate celebrations so much—they allow everyone to slow down and truly enjoy every moment together.
Thank you, Andrea and Rafael, for trusting me with your memories and for introducing me to such a beautiful hidden gem close to home.

Balls Falls Conservation Area is one of those places that never looks the same twice.
Kate and Bryce wanted a relaxed engagement session surrounded by nature and to include one very important family member—their dog.
We explored the waterfalls, Twenty Mile Creek, the historic barns, forest trails and open fields while creating photos that truly reflected who they are. It was one of those sessions where everything came together.
Even better, our story didn't end there. Two years later, I had the privilege of photographing their wedding, making these engagement photos the beginning of an even bigger journey together.
If you're considering engagement photos at Balls Falls, I hope this session gives you some inspiration.

Everything starts with a bloom. 🌸

Every love story has a beginning. Before the wedding day, before the vows, there's a season of anticipation—a time to simply enjoy each other and celebrate what's ahead.

Walking through the city with Heather and Marc reminded me that the best engagement sessions aren't about perfect poses. They're about finding the moments in between—the laughter, the quiet glances, and the excitement of starting a new chapter together.

Sometimes, all it takes is a beautiful backdrop, a genuine connection, and the willingness to let the story unfold naturally.

Every wedding tells a different story, and Srdjan and Anastasia's celebration was one I'll always remember.
Their day began with quiet documentary moments while getting ready, followed by an emotional first look in their apartment before travelling to a beautiful Serbian Orthodox church ceremony. Before arriving at Archeo Trattoria, we stopped for portraits overlooking Toronto's skyline, giving them a collection of photographs that reflected both the city they love and the people they are.
The Distillery District provided the perfect backdrop for their evening, with historic streets, warm sunset light, incredible food, and a dance floor that stayed full until the end of the night.
One of my favourite moments was stepping outside for just a few minutes to create their final nighttime portraits beneath the lights of the Distillery District.
Thank you, Srdjan and Anastasia, for making me feel like part of your family.

Mandy and Eric wanted an engagement session with a variety of looks without spending the entire day driving between locations.
Starting at Humber East Park, we photographed by the beach before moving through Humber Bay Park, Sheldon Lookout, Trillium Park, and finally finishing with Toronto's skyline illuminated after sunset.
What made this session special was how each location brought something completely different. We moved from relaxed waterfront portraits to golden-hour photos, dramatic skyline views, sunset silhouettes, and finally romantic nighttime images overlooking the city.
Over three hours, we created a collection that feels like multiple engagement sessions in one.
Thank you, Mandy and Eric, for trusting my vision and spending the afternoon exploring some of Toronto's most beautiful waterfront locations with me.

Julie and Peter’s Royal Ambassador engagement photos reminded me why engagement sessions matter so much.
They originally weren’t planning one and wanted to focus on celebrating their engagement party with family and friends at Royal Ambassador. We kept things simple and photographed a short session before guests arrived.
What made it special was how quickly they relaxed.
The venue grounds gave us beautiful spring scenery—from the pond and waterfalls to the pathways and terrace—and the photos felt natural right away.
A few months later, during their wedding at the same venue, that comfort and connection made everything feel effortless.
Sometimes a short engagement session does much more than create photos—it helps couples feel confident and enjoy the wedding day even more.
Thank you, Julie and Peter, for trusting me and allowing me to be part of both celebrations.
