✨ A Toronto couple’s photo session with a surprise ending 💍🤍

When Mo reached out around New Year to plan a surprise proposal from Calgary, we had to get creative — especially with a Toronto snowstorm outside. ❄️

We planned their session at Mint Studios, and while Noor was enjoying their couple photos, a beautiful surprise was quietly being prepared in the next room.

The result was everything we hoped for — genuine emotions, happy tears, and such a special moment to capture. 📸✨

Thank you, Mo, for trusting me with such an unforgettable proposal. Wishing you and Noor so much happiness in this next chapter together. 💛

Lina and John's Millcroft Inn and Spa wedding reminded me that intimate weddings often create some of the most meaningful moments.
Surrounded by their blended families and closest friends, they celebrated their marriage in one of Ontario's most beautiful wedding venues, with waterfalls, lush greenery, and emotional outdoor ceremony moments creating the perfect atmosphere throughout the day.
One of my favourite parts of their wedding was the idea they planned for their guests before the ceremony. Instead of a traditional photo booth, we created natural outdoor portraits around the grounds of Millcroft Inn and Spa as a keepsake for everyone attending.
From documentary moments during the ceremony to relaxed portraits near the waterfalls, their wedding felt calm, elegant, and incredibly personal.
Thank you, Lina and John, for trusting me to document such a meaningful chapter in your family's story.

✨ The First-Look Photos (Behind the Scenes) ✨

I rarely see behind-the-scenes images from a bride and groom’s first look that also capture the emotions and reactions of their closest friends — and that’s exactly why I love this photo so much. 💛📸

While my couple was sharing their emotional first-look moment, their friends were right around the corner, filled with excitement, laughter, and anticipation. The energy in this image says it all. ✨

One of my favourite parts of photographing weddings is experiencing not only the emotions of the couple, but also the genuine reactions of the people who love and support them throughout the day.

This incredible group of friends stayed by my couple’s side the entire wedding day, helping them through every unexpected moment and bringing so much positivity, fun, and heart to the celebration. 🤍

I truly wanted to share this image as a thank you for all of their support and amazing energy that day.

MJ & Tristan didn’t have the chance to take proper wedding photos on their wedding day… so we created them afterward.
Their Chinguacousy Park wedding photo session turned into something truly special—relaxed, intimate, and full of beautiful moments.
In just two hours, we explored so many unique spots and created a full gallery that feels like a complete wedding day.
Proof that it’s never too late to capture your story 🤍

🌿 Spring, Family, and New Beginnings

There’s something incredibly special about watching a story continue. 💛

Not long ago, I had the honour of photographing this beautiful couple’s wedding at Edgewater Manor, and now here they are — embracing a new chapter as a young family at Lincoln Estates.

Moments like this, filled with connection, laughter, and quiet love, are what make photography so meaningful to me.

Spring is the perfect time for sessions like this — soft light, fresh colours, and that feeling of a new beginning in the air. 🌸🌿

If you’re thinking about capturing your own story in a relaxed, natural setting, I’d love to create something just as meaningful for you. 📸

A perfectly timed surprise, a lakeside view, and a moment they will never forget.
Jordan and Dina’s proposal in Port Dover by Lake Erie was planned with both families and executed at sunset on a private waterfront property.
From the emotional proposal under a heart-shaped arch to the golden hour photos along the pier, everything about this moment was intentional — but still completely natural.
That’s when the best reactions happen.

Proposal in Port Dover by Lake Erie captured at sunset with a private waterfront setup, family, and romantic golden hour engagement photos.

A local session, two beautiful locations, and one incredible story.
Morla and Adrian chose to start their Goldie Mill Ruins engagement in Guelph and finish at the Arboretum during golden hour — and the transition between these two locations made all the difference.
From the textured, shaded ruins to the open fields and soft sunset light, everything about this session was designed around timing, movement, and creating space for them to simply be themselves.
That’s when the real moments happen.

Goldie Mill Ruins engagement photos in Guelph at golden hour, combined with Arboretum portraits for a natural, romantic and artistic session.

Matt and Angela’s Proposal at Mill Pond in Milton was one of the quickest yet most smoothly executed surprise proposals I’ve photographed.
With only a few days of planning, everything came together at the gazebo overlooking the pond. What followed was an emotional, unforgettable moment as Matt surprised Angela in a place they both already loved visiting.
After the proposal, we continued with a relaxed engagement session around Mill Pond—exploring the forest trails, bridge, rail tracks, and lakeside views while capturing natural, candid moments.
A beautiful reminder that even the simplest plans, when done with intention, can create unforgettable memories.
