I have always loved travelling with my camera and taking pictures of the surrounding landscape and architecture. Friends have often asked me to capture memories of their weddings, newborns and families. I knew I had a passion for photography, but more importantly, a desire to capture memories in time. In early 2017, when I decided to retire from a 25 year career in the corporate world, I was encou

raged by my husband to pursue this passion. My focus is to provide both natural light and studio photography for newborns, children, families and pets. I cherish the opportunity to capture your special moments and freeze them in time.

There’s something special about photographing people you know — the comfort, the trust, the realness.
This little crew welcomed a beautiful baby girl, and her big brother proudly showed me how perfectly he fits his new role.

A sweet, connected session I’ll always remember. ✨

There’s something so beautiful about a family that grows together, stays close, and brings in new members like they’ve always belonged. Capturing this family—with parents, kids, and now the kids’ spouses—all so tight-knit and full of love was truly inspiring. Watching them laugh, tease, and support each other is a reminder that family is forever. ā¤ļø šŸ“ø

When you book a sweet grandparent-grandkid photoshoot and… some of the grandkids decide today is the day to protest ALL photos! šŸ˜‚ Cue the epic meltdown: tears, wails, and a refusal to sit still. Sometimes capturing ā€˜real life’ means embracing the chaos, and honestly, I think this photo might be a family classic! Can’t wait to see these little faces laugh about it one day! šŸ“ø šŸ“ø

About Me

I started out with a Canon DSLR camera in 2005 mostly capturing landscape images from hiking adventures, local waterfalls and some North American hotspots. My love for photography grew as I began to learn all the various settings and my ability improved. My former employer liked some of my pictures so much, they’ve been enlarged, printed on canvas, and hang in the corporate office today.

I slowly began to branch out of my comfort zone of landscape photography and introduce actual real-life people into my shots!

When my Dad turned 70 in 2010, we celebrated with family and friends in his backyard. Of course, I had my trusty camera with me and joyfully snapped away. Back home, I carefully began to choose just the right images to create a hard-covered memory book as his gift. I can still remember my Dad’s joyful and tearful reaction when he opened the book and began to see all the pictures that I had captured. I will always cherish this memory. From there, I have since created many books of the images I have captured for family and friends, including a wedding and a retirement celebration.

I love being able to capture those special moments when people don’t realize my camera is pointing in their direction. Those natural, heart-felt moments in time.
