This month has had more returning client bookings than new client bookings🥹 Obviously I love meeting new families as well (after all that’s how these relationships start!) but it makes me so so happy when I get an email from someone who I’ve already been a part of one of their huge life milestones!

I took John’s newborn photos almost two years ago, and this fall we did our 2nd year in a row of family photos! 🥰🍁

Every summer of my life I’ve gone to a village in Eastern Quebec to unplug, explore nature, and enjoy quality family time. As a kid, the highlight of that trip was always playing with my cousins on the front lawn of the cottage. Now as an adult (although I still love a good lawn game!) the highlight is revisiting our traditional hikes and taking photos along the way. I hope you enjoy this set of photos from my 2025 annual summer trip to Cacouna, Quebec! 🪵🌾🫶🏼

I haven’t used black and white editing often. I used to mostly only use it on wedding photos that were in not ideal lighting or colouring situations, but lately I’ve been incorporating it more into some galleries and I’m loving it!

Sometimes the moment in the photo is so great that I want to make it black and white just to keep the focus on the feeling in the photo.

Other times I still use it as a way to revive a beautiful moment that was photographed in terrible lighting😂

If you have a family photo that you love but it’s too dark and grainy to edit the colours, or you just can’t get the hues and tones right because of a mixed lighting situation - try black and white!

Vancouver 2025 Trip Itinerary🗺️🌿🌊🦭🐋🌳

Earlier this year Connor and I went to Vancouver, BC! I’m always a little late (okay yea 3 months late) on editing my own trip photos😅. Here’s our full itinerary (minus the U Sports Championship which is the main reason we went out there😂).

Montreal family photos will be available for one week this summer!🌷

As some of you may know, I’m visiting Montreal a few times this summer while my partner is living there for work training. One of those weeks, I am opening up a limited amount of family photo sessions!

These can be maternity, newborn, first birthday, or family sessions, and the process will be the same as my regular sessions.
