With the extreme temperature swings the last couple of days sun kinks developed today on the Ontario Northland track in Haileybury near Albert Street and on the siding in Earlton.
(Sun kinks are a buckle in the railroad track caused by hot weather or temperature swings)

Ditcher #1 - Work 1741 on its way back to Englehart for the night had to be thrown into emergency braking stopping on top of the sun kink. With all eyes on the wheels, they slowly inched the train over the kink.
