🌈✨ Feeling incredibly proud to share these portraits I created with some of the voices of . Every face tells a story of authenticity and joy — and it’s been such an incredible an honour to be a part of creating this.

I am beyond thrilled that some of these gems are on display at the Voice of Pride exhibition at the Minden Hill Cultural Centre, curated by Scott Michael Walling be sure to check these images and other amazing creatives out!

There isn’t a caption that can best represent this perfect day. So I’ll share a little poem I wrote for these two instead.

On your wedding day, my dear brother
I have been thinking of how we grew up together
I always dreamt of having a little sister,
But instead, I go you - the most handsome mister
As a kid I dressed you up in all sorts of thrills
Pinks, bows and dresses, it was all such a thrill!
But that boy was a boy who would swing from the trees
And wouldn’t come down when mom begged him please
I watched you grow up from a wild little kid
With mischief and fun in all that you did
Now look at you with your confident grin
A man on the outside, still my little brother within
Here we are, on the most special day
Marrying a woman who takes your heart away
She’s the sister I dreamed of so sweet and so true
And I’m happy, so happy she’s now part of our crew
As you step into this life, hand in hand with her
Know my heart swells with joy, love and cheer
I’m proud of you both, as you start this new chapter
With love, laughter and happily ever after
You’ve found your match, your beautiful bride
And I’m thankful to finally have my little sister - the sweetest one at your side
She brings calm where storms once stirred
A kindness felt without a word
And though she came as someone new
She feels like someone I always knew

A little glimpse into our lives with this adorable foster pup who is looking for the perfect home! As much as I wish it could be ours it’s just not the right time for our family. He has stolen our hearts with those blue eyes, beautiful face and softest fur, not to mention how it feels to cuddle with him.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Owyn is a Great Pyrenees X and will be a big boy and will need a home suitable to this breed. He is a sweet boy with a playful side and loves the kids, Reign (golden retriever) and all the toys. He’s learning the ropes really quickly with potty training, quiet time and schedules, he is food driven, which is making him especially easy to teach.

So I will take all the puppy snuggles and photos I can for now and wait until he’s found the perfect home.

I have been saving this image to have a special space on my feed. And now is an even better time to share because it won a award!! I’m so honoured to have been able to make this image, to be a part of this birth - women supporting women through such a significant time of life - birth - and I feel this image could not represent that feeling more.

Happy New Year! I’ve been in deep hibernation mode for the last little while and while I’m not ready to fully emerge from my cozy cave for the winter, I will make sure to spend some in connection with family, friends and of course nature. So I’m sharing a favourite photo of mine, which my wonderful friends and their kiddos helped bring my vision to fruition. Based on the painting by Eugene Iverd “Campfire on a Winter Lake”
