Thrilled to now see on !! A fun, heartwarming, too real, witty, show about a young Inuk woman forging her own path in a tiny Arctic village ❄️

We had a blast photographing Keira Cooper— who you can see as .r.b.lambe’s daughter, Bun on the show— and she is as much of a firecracker irl as she is on screen⚡️Can’t wait for more, personally I’m going to need like 5 more seasons immediately 🫡

Big congratulations to on successfully championing ‘A Two-Spirit Journey’ by Ma-Nee Chacaby and Mary Louisa Plummer at this years Canada Reads competition 🎉

The theme of this years ‘literary survivor’ competition was ‘one book to change the narrative’ and this year book, ‘Two-Spirit Journey’ is Chacaby’s memoir of being an Ojibwa-Cree le***an growing up in northern Ontario, and how she overcame abuse and alcohol addiction to become a counsellor and eventually lead Thunder Bay’s first gay pride parade!

So many photos to share from our shoot this summer with , but I love how described this one photo as “(Ms.Lily) standing in her power” 🪶

This is always our favourite shoot of the year, with our favourite organization, and usually on one of the hottest days of summer lol but everyone (as always) was a trooper and made the most of it. It is always such a privilege to photograph womxn who have been through so much, in such a beautiful and soft way, we are truly so honoured ❤️
