Driving back home from Crescent beach I stopped to take a look at this old boat house on the rock beach. These were some of my favourite photos from a trip shortly before we moved to Nova Scotia in 2020. I think it's the colour of the boat house against the grey beach and the texture of the building against the rock.

Thank you to everyone that's liked and shared my page! I really appreciate all the support and thought I'd share a little bit about my process 😊

For those who don't know, I've been photographing for nearly 10 years after finding an old film camera at my parents house in high-school.

Learning how to develop film and print in a darkroom got me hooked on photography and it's a process I'm still passionate about today. I still shoot film for my personal work, but as I look to book more clients I often feel the pull to use the process to tell their stories, alongside all the modern day gear.

There's something special about a tangible picture. As I was flipping through a family photo album at my parent's house I couldn't help but feel that it's a different and more rewarding experience than swiping through endless galleries on a phone.

I know that when I print I'm creating something that can last decades, physical proof of a moment gone by. For me, the 5000 or so images I have on my phone don't convey that same feeling as flipping through an old wedding album or a stack of 4x6s.

I wanted to share some film work from a few recent weddings I've been at, I love when I get the chance to use this process and I'm so happy when it resonates with clients and folks that share the same way of thinking.

Thanks for being here!
