Just a few of my absolute favourites; I’m starting to get used to being on the opposite side of the camera which is a hard adjustment but it’s important to me for a few reasons.

1. You experience what your clients feel when they are in front of the camera.

2. You can experiment with some of your favourite poses, get a feel for what you like and get your creative juices flowing.

3. It’s fun!

My favourite place in the entire world is the ocean. Ever since I was little going to the beach was a sense of calm for me. It’s freeing and it lets you see it’s true beauty, it’s real and it is soothing for the soul. From beach walks, to sitting on a blanket and staring out into the ocean with a book in your hand listening to the crashing waves, to taking your camera and getting creative it resets your mind.

• These were taken at the lower part of the cliff at Cape Spear in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
