Getting ready to photograph in just 18 days! In the past I’ve often made my own Pride shirts but I’ve been so busy this year I decided to buy some new apparel from two Canadian small businesses that make Pride apparel! Thanks to ***rgeekery and I now have 4 Pride shirts and a couple new pins to wear during all my Halifax Pride photography adventures!

Happy Pride Month! 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈As a q***r person I celebrate Pride all year long but June serves as a good reminder to be louder and prouder. It’s also a time to continue to encourage our allies to stand with us and use their privilege to help fight those who seek to harm the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Transgender community members are most at risk right now with anti-trans legislation and transphobia on the rise in many countries, including right here in Canada. Please reach out to your government officials, talk to your friends and families, and spend some time educating yourself on what is happening to trans people in our own country and beyond. And remember that Pride doesn’t end come July 1st, q***r people exist all year long.
