THE HILLIERS
A couple who is clearly very loved by their family and friends. And after having the pleasure of knowing these two and hearing the wonderful stories and speeches that evening, it was pretty clear why — these two give that same kind of love and loyalty right back.
There were emotional first looks, beautiful vows, photos with their adorable Nelly, speeches that had everyone laughing and crying, and a dance floor that absolutely delivered.
The weather threw us a few curveballs with showers coming and going all day, but honestly? Nobody seemed too bothered. They just kept enjoying themselves.
Good people. Good energy. A whole lot of love. And a couple who really, really knows how to have fun together.

We think the best weddings are the ones where you forget you’re working.
Where you’re laughing with everyone, getting pulled into hugs, and somehow feeling like you’ve known these people forever.
That was this day.
Rebecca & Josh brought us back to where their story began — the same place they first dated, the same booth where they had their first date over beers. Their daughter was there for their vows. Their closest people flew in from all over. And the whole day felt like one big celebration!
So much laughter. So many happy tears. So many hugs that were way too hard to leave behind.
Here’s to knowing two wonderful people who have definitely left a mark in our lives! Here’s to The Davies!

Somehow we’re already in September, looking back on a summer full of beautiful weddings, family celebrations, much editing, and not nearly enough beach days.
Through it all, our girl has been an absolute superstar. She’s become pretty familiar with late-night pickups, wedding weekends, editing sessions that lead into the morning and understands that this is all part of what we do.
We’re so thankful for our friends who have taken good care of her during long days and even longer nights. Knowing she’s surrounded by people who love her makes leaving for work a whole lot easier.
And then there’s the balancing act that we’re constantly working on.
There’s still plenty of late-night editing and work that comes home with us. But we’re trying to make room for the important stuff too. Uno games. Park trips. Family dinners. Slow mornings. Being fully present when we can (especially since school starts soon!)
We definitely know how lucky we are that we get to do this for a living. But we also know that protecting our time with family is the most important part of it all.
Honestly, getting to figure out this whole thing together makes it a lot easier.
We get to dream together, work together, struggle together, celebrate together, and build a life together.
To every couple and family who have trusted us and continues to trust us with their memories: THANK YOU. Your kind, thoughtful messages and voice notes, your excitement over your photos, and the way you cherish what we create makes every late night worth it.
Here’s to September and to more incredible celebrations ahead!

It rained on and off throughout the day, — during their first look, private vows, especially just before the ceremony. But these two waited patiently for a break.

And then, almost perfectly, the rain gave them a little window just as it was time to begin the ceremony. The team at White Point Beach Resort hurriedly wiped off the seats making sure it was clean and dry, guests took their seats, and a bunny even made a special appearance during their ceremony.

A place that already meant so much to them, a day they had been looking forward to, and two people who stayed calm through all of it. Somehow, it made everything feel even more meaningful.
Congratulations again, Hilary & Andrew! Thank you so much for having us!

There’s something pretty special about getting to photograph people exactly as they are. A fun evening spent with these two as we walked by the water, laughed a lot and ended our time together at one of their favorite spots (with Margo & Willa!). THE D’EONS
One of our favourite parts about photography is meeting people we probably never would have crossed paths with if it wasn’t for what we do. How lucky are we to be in such great company last week?! And to be trusted by René and Sydney (also a photographer herself) with documenting their special day is such an honor.

To know these two is to have the privilege of being surrounded by their amazing families and friends.
From the most heartfelt vows, to taking their time to be with their loved ones throughout the day, to all the sweet looks they gave each other — we left this wedding feeling so thankful. Thankful for kind families, meaningful connections, and the trust people place in us to tell their stories.
