Believe it or not…I and still doing some photography even tho I have been MIA on my Instagram feed;) 😂🤣👍🏻

I wanted to share a few snippets from family/maternity mini session before I go shoot her newborn photos this week:)

Happy new year from our family to yours:) !!!! Wow 2024!!! I still remember the turn of the century like it was yesterday…and now 24 years have passed by. …ANY way we failed to get a family photo this Christmas (oops! 🤦🏼‍♀️🙈) but I did manage to snap a few photos of the kids in the backyard right before our Christmas Eve service!!:) xo

The ‘almost’ kiss is 🔥 …the going in for the kiss photo always wins over the actual kiss photo. I’ve seen a few beautiful ones posted this week by fellow photographers and it reminded me to post this shot!

[HOT TIP] you want great couple photos at sunset? Wait until the sun has JUST gone down or is just about to go down and then turn 90-180 degrees away from the sun. Thats where the sky often glows pink and that’s the best way to photograph people at sunset without using a flash or having silhouettes (imo)!

And how pretty is this?This doesn’t even look like Nova Scotia to me…I mean we do get dreamy sunsets but those rocks are coooool. I’m kinda in love with the look of it to be honest;) 😜

September was busy around here and I ALMOST forgot to post a few photos from Huxley’s 4 year old Photoshoot! He rocked it! Everly may like to dress up for hers but Huxley on the other hand… the more mud and tree climbing there is the higher the probability we will get great photos:)

I forgot how much I love shooting little families!!! (Specially the motherhood connection!) Shooting weddings has definitely taken the front seat over the years …but I think it’s time I get back to doing more family stuff! Like seriously how cute is this little family! Think I’m going to have to put a reel together for this one!;)

I may be literally the worst in the world at posting these days…but I have a gazillion images from AMAZING shoots and weddings this summer that neeeeed to be shared! BUT I am eyeballs deep in unpacking a house and editing the remaining weddings of the season… so things on instA remain a little quiet…. But don’t go anywhere tooo far away, cuz I have lots more comin at ya soon!:) and how’s this for summer lovin’ on a beach?:)

UMMM WHAT!?!?!! It’s definitely very surreal…

After a year and a half of tiny apartment living (with most of our things in storage)… and one year of building….we are finally moved into our home!! David Bryant] said it best when he said there has been valleys and mountains… But mostly valleys;)…this last year has been no picnic. It doesn’t matter how rosy things look on Instagram it’s been a wild year…buuuutttt it feels so good to be moved in and somewhat settled right before the holidays!

I am BEYOND grateful and impressed with the hard work David Bryant] and his guys and joe put into this house…I mean they literally made allll my designs come to life and well… I just love them all!:)
