Sending it back into the archives this chilly seaside Sunday to a time that warmed my heart. Why? Simply because I can. 🧡 I’ve never been great at posting, and I reject this self imposed rule that once the wedding season has passed, I can’t share it any longer. Who calls the shots around here anyway?! Me! That’s who! So let’s throw caution to the wind and celebrate the memories of times gone by. After all, isn’t that the whole point in what I do? Capturing memories to have and share forever and always!

Capturing a true and authentically beautiful moment as it unfolds in front of me is a high I’ll never tire of feeling. 🖤 Forget the staged moments. I get excited when it just happens on its own.

Yes, I’ll purposefully hang the dress in a spot that looks pretty.

Yes, I’ll slide that not so cute Airbnb sofa out of the way so it doesn’t photobomb your moment.

But once I’ve set the scene, I urge everyone in the room to live in the moment and not worry about me. Be present, enjoy your day. I’ll swiftly dance around the room, and pluck each memory out of the air as quickly as it happens. Saved forever in a picture, a real moment in time.

This October wedding will surely go down in my history books as the wettest wedding I’ve captured 🍂⛈️ What an honour for them I know! 😝 But it would seem that when you’re in love, weather is just background noise. So we embraced the windswept hair and considered it our own personal Beyoncé wind machine! The delicious autumnal hues of the decor exploded against the moody backdrop of stormy skies. With big smiles, and even fuller hearts, memories were made and captured.

Flashback to this dreamy Lawrencetown engagement session that still lives rent free in my mind all these years later 🤍 Two young, wild and free best friends. Getting ready to say, “ I Do” for life… and today they just announced the arrival of their BABY girl!! 🍼

The years fly by, and it is forever the coolest feeling getting to meet so many of you along your life’s journey. Capturing your milestones, so that down the road someone like your future baby can flip through and see her mama and papa back in the day. 🥹 I get goosebumps every time!

When I reflect back on this particular engagement session, my overwhelming memory is, “Gosh. That was honestly just so much fun. 🥹” I mean that in the purest sense of the word too. Just fun! Like we were all kids again, even if just for a moment. I’m grateful for all the evenings I spend running around like a fool for you all. What an absolute gift it is to spend evenings like this with you, being invited to your secret tucked away locations. Introducing me to beautiful new vistas of this province everytime. Cheers to another season filled with pure fun creating memories to last a lifetime. 🖤
