Happy 1st anniversary wedding to these two! I had blogged this wedding a while back but only realized I hadn't shared any of it.. so here we go!

I travelled to photograph their destination wedding at the Algonquin Resort in St. Andrews by the Sea in New Brunswick in May of last year - full of sweet quiet moments with some loud fun ones at the end ;)

St. Andrews by the Sea is such a perfect spot for anyone considering a Canadian destination wedding!

Almost exactly one year ago, E & C got married with their friends and family in the coziest wooden lodge/chalet. I don't know how I ever manage to narrow down photos but here we go!

I had such an incredible time at the Love (Actually) Exhibition opening last night at the Gladstone Hotel. So grateful to have a photograph exhibited, but mostly to be apart of such a loving and talented community of photographers.

The show goes on until Feb 24th and seriously, it's hard to explain how beautiful the images and the stories behind them are, without seeing them yourself. Whether you're planning a wedding or not, the photos will inspire and melt your heart like nothing else will. So please, do yourself a favour and go see the show! *Bring kleenex!!

If you recognize this image, you may or may not remember it from when it was on display at the Love (Actually) exhibition at the Gladstone last year. This show is all about love and emotion and all the beautiful moments in a wedding day. Curated by the suuuper talented lovely , it showcases 34 images from talented toronto wedding photographers and all the vendors involved in making those weddings happen.
I’m so honoured and humbled to say that another one of my photos has been accepted into the show this year! Every year, hundreds and hundreds of photos are submitted and in a city full of such talent(!!!), it’s honestly such a blessing an photo of mine made it! This show stands for everything I believe in and what I think wedding photography should be about: love, connection and moments.
Now I won’t spoil you with which photo of mine got in this year so you’ll just have to come and see for yourself! The show runs from Feb 6 - 24, from 12-5 at the Gladstone Hotel. Or better yet, come hang out during opening night reception on Feb 7 from 7-10pm. It’s all free!

(If you’ve made it this far, the story behind this photo.. during their wedding reception, R & B stepped aside to the adjacent hallway to have a moment (wait for the washroom lol) and as usual, I was creeping and caught them in the perfect light. Definitely will be one of my favs for years to come.)
