Last November felt like the sweetest homecoming of sorts for my tender little heart and body. Although I was straddling the line of work and enjoyment it didn’t change the impact or warm embrace that was Kat Nantz Pleasure Church. To be invited to witness and capture this kind of event through my lens was a dream and a yes that was felt in my bones and the reality did not disappoint.
There is something profound that happens in community spaces where all of us is welcomed, where we can allow ourselves to both be held and also meet and hold others too. Places where when they say all of you is welcome they actually mean it and it can be felt in such a present way. Where you get invited to explore your edges and the dynamic range that is you. Where you aren’t fixed or changed but instead met and allowed to be in what is present. Where you can let it all hang out and disarm yourself and touch what being welcomed really feels like.
It’s like a homecoming you’ve always wanted but maybe didn’t fully know how to articulate or ask for. A chance to be seen, accepted, loved and deeply nourished. Something we all need, but especially my fellow weirdos and those who have been led to believe they’re a burden or too much. I am so grateful to Kat and what she’s created and CANNOT WAIT for the upcoming Pleasure Church May 12-17th happening in Portugal. I believe there are 2 spots left and believe me when I tell you that this is an investment in yourself that you will be so glad that you made. My life post PC has been richer in vulnerability, clearer in my boundaries and so much more bountiful in my love. We not only deserve but need these kinds of spaces and reminders and they absolutely carry forward well beyond when the retreat is done.
I could say SOOOO much more but caption limits 😅 if you’re curious or have questions about my experience plz reach out. Like cannot gush about it enough!
