Day 1 Challenge | What’s Holding You Back?

So about that last posting challenge... fell off that boat pretty quick BUT that's okay, because the point of it was to get posting again and learn what works best, and I learned that daily deep-dive diatribes are not it for me (and also that Insta posts have a 2200 character limit 😅) I also learned that a lot of you were just excited to see me posting art again and that made me very happy 😊 and even more determined to stop standing in my own way and just get. Art. Out. So here's my new posting challenge to myself - bring on the visuals! If I have to I'm gonna post like Beyoncé, captions who? 💅 No April Fools!

BUT FIRST... I'm building something new with the intention of making it as accessible, easy and exciting to jump in and work with me for as many of you as possible, so I need some feedback from YOU:

I'm super excited to share something new at Sly Play Studios for 2023. Introducing The Seen & Stunning Society - a Self-love Subscription.
An opportunity for you to have 6 unique Playhouse Sessions photoshoots with Sly Play Studios in one year, while shining your light brightly and sharing your story with the world.
With each session you'll gain confidence, find new facets of yourself, and capture a year's worth of evolution in the work of art that is you - worthy of documenting through all your seasons.
Not only will we create a steady flow of scroll-stopping content to share on the socials, but a stunning collection of artful images that you'll look back on and cherish for years to come.
These images and behind-the-scenes content will be shared on social media and other marketing materials for Sly Play Studios - the more you show up unapologetically and share your story, the more you'll inspire others like you to share theirs.

The Seen & Stunning Society Membership 2023 cost - at it's introductory rate for the first year of offering the program - is $1500. This is a massive savings of over $3500 if you were to buy all the sessions, additional images and products separately!
The subscription model is set up to make it as affordable as possible - there's an initial payment of $120 to reserve your spot, then the remaining balance is due on the second Tuesday of each month of 2023, broken up into 12 equal interest-free payments of $115.

You might be wondering why, as a bo***ir and creative portrait photography studio, have I decided to put on a burlesque show?

Because burlesque and bo***ir make the same kind of magic. They're both about showing up bold in your body to tell stunning stories and teach yourself new lessons about how to love yourself.
They both create a container that suspends self doubt, grants permission to be daring, to take up space in all your gorgeous and messy sensuality, emotion, and creative sparks.
They're both visual and experiential expressions that reveal facets of ourselves that make us shine in a light we never knew.

And we need that light more than ever.
And spaces where that light can be celebrated, collectively, in community too.
