I seriously love what I get to do! And not only do I love it, but I truly believe that it’s important work: paying attention to life + honoring it by documenting it in beautiful, and compelling ways!

It’s not just photographers who do this — it’s the artists, poets, writers, musicians, etc. anyone telling a story really.

I feel incredibly honoured to be invited into people’s messy lives to document them, their love, their families, their life, and tell their stories through my art 🫶

When it rains on your wedding day, you have a few options:

A) avoid it completely
B) avoid it until after the important stuff
C) embrace it!

I’m game for whichever response you choose, but I am a little partial to embracing it where possible.

For Evelyn & Andre’s wedding, I knew from my timeline meeting with Evelyn that she really wanted the first kiss photo with their guests in the background. Though it was pouring, I was determined to get the shot regardless! (Praise God for great camera rain gear hehe). So let it be known that I will stand in the rain to get your dream wedding photos ☔️

From getting ready to first look 🥹

Getting ready moments are some of my favorites as a couple prepares for the day ahead, surrounded by those they love, in sweet anticipation of seeing their person and getting to marry them!! There’s an intimacy to these moments that I feel incredibly honoured to be a part of and document — especially when it’s in their family homes. So much history, love, and intention.

Sophie & Talon’s Hamilton wedding on digital and film (guess which ones are film — there are 2!) Their wedding was filled with so much love and tears and I cannot wait to edit their entire day 🫶

On another note, this summer has been so fun and full of documenting love so far which has made me a little slow to post hehe!

I’m so thankful for all of the summer weddings and sessions I’ve been invited to document, and I cannot wait for all of the fall weddings to come! 🥹 If you want to find me for the next couple of weeks, I’ll either be editing or camping :)
