performed on Sunday night as one of the headliner bands of the in Hamilton, Ontario. With playful stage banter and sharing stories with the crowd between songs, Death by stereo built a bond with the small but dedicated crowd at Vertagogo, while powering through a set spanning their entire catalogue, closing out their set with Wasted words, a song made hugely popular when it featured on the 2002 compilation Punk-o-Rama 7, and the first song they ever wrote "Looking out for #1" which also featured on an earloer punk-o-rama compilation that helped catapult them and get them them opportunity to travel the world and perform for new audiences.
If you're looking for fun, melodic skate punk with easy to sing along songs, go ahead and give Death By Stereo a listen.

.band graced the stage at at early on in the day. Taking Command of the room with their hard and fast paced metal influenced riffs, their singer spending a good amount of time off the stage and engaging with the crowd, and hyping up the young kids that had shown up early to the party. Encouraging the new up and coming generations by singing along, getting high fives and smiling the whole way through.
A fantastic band with a great attitude and a powerful set of songs to choose from. If you're into thrash or crossover and want to support local bands, this Hamilton/Niagara area band is a great add for your playlist.

dropped into Hamilton at on the final stop of their Canadian leg of this tour for the last night. Gracing the room with their east bay, California hardcore sounds. made full use of the entire stage space while engaging with the fans and sharing the mic through their fast paced politically charged songs, while taking the time in between songs to share stories of his upbringing with Ignite and some of the local Canadian bands, like their friends in and . A high energy set from start to finish for a small, but packed room, Brett Rasmussen shared with the crowd that his passion for playing doesn't change whether they're playing large festivals or small basement shows. A band that truly appreciated their fans is always a breath of fresh air.
If you haven't checked out Ignite before, there's no better time than now.

at day 1. Hammering out a set full of classic tracks ranging from their 1999 album "Angles live in my town" all the way to their latest installment 2021 "Hindsight is the sixth sense", a high energy set from front to back that was well received by the fans. They even included a couple of requested songs that were made by fans earlier in the evening before they took the stage.
Belvedere has been playing as a band for nearly 30 years, often making stops in smaller markets across Canada to bring their enthusiastic skate punk sound to fans of all ages.
Currently touring with Greg Hounsell filling in on guitar, his play style and stage presence are perfectly complimentary to the full time lineup.

performed at in Hamilton as part of their Canadian leg of their current tour. Celebrating 30 years of skate punk, hailing from Mesa, Arizona, Authority zero showed the full range of their sound scapes by performing flowing and vibing reggae inspired sings, all the way through to their crowd favorites punchy skate punk tracks. With their singer, Jason, spending about as much time on the stage as he did in the crowd, this high energy set was a fun time for everyone.

played last week to a sold out room while opening for .

Playing songs from their entire catalogue, middling the set with the favorite crowd participation song "worm circuit" off their latest album "Life is Beautiful"
Check out their instagram for upcoming shows for the remainder of 2024.

.punkrock graced the stage at in Hamilton last night at on their first trip to Canada. Hailing all the way from Germany, they powered through a set of uptempo hard hitting politically charged skate punk songs, from their 2023 album Breathe, that had the crowd bobbing their heads and signing along. Their bouncy and fast paced cover of The Outfield's "Your Love" was especially well received and really brought the room together in a fun sing along.

Took a little day trip down to Lewiston New York today, checked out the Iroquois Wildlife reserve while I was down there, what a beautifully kept green space that was. Caught this osprey in flight while it was out looking for a snack. My first time seeing an osprey in person. Very cool looking bird 🤘
