My name is Emily Deppe and photography stole my heart and threw away the key. I bought a camera and I’ve never looked back. Over the years, I’ve shot with a few instant cameras, several digital cameras, and more disposable cameras than I can count. Those lead up to my current DSLR, which happens to be my favourite. y only grew with time, so that led me to attend Mohawk College for photography. I'm currently still attending and loving every minute of it! This started a secondary passion for videography. I love being able to tell a story in a creative way, and film allows me to do that. I’ve always been captivated by cameras. I never cease to be amazed at how they can capture a moment, so you can treasure it forever. It’s enchanting. I try to show that in my photography. I want to capture the essence of life in my photos. I want to show people that there is beauty everywhere and it is what makes life so exceptional. It's in the wings of a crow, soaring free in the sky. It's in the smile of a girl who radiates joy and confidence. It's in the graceful curves of a pregnant mother-to-be. It's in a soft kiss shared by two people in love.
