I’ve worked at 13 weddings in the last three months. It feels like I’ve been living and breathing weddings, but on the other hand, that somehow doesn’t even sound like that many!?

I took this past week off for one of my yearly midsummer cottage breaks, which comes with very limited email and internet access… and it has been SO relaxing 😌 Highly encourage a scheduled break in the middle of your busy season.

When both dads bring up quotes that reference storms during their speeches, you KNOW it was a doozy of a weather day (although truly far from worst case!)

One said, ‘a good marriage doesn’t mean never facing storms, it means facing them together.’ And the other quoted, ‘when a storm comes along, don’t wait for it to pass, learn to dance in the rain.’ How sweet is that!
