We hold an incredible passion for life, love, and documenting the emotional moments that add meaning to our lives. Our approach to photography is natural and relationship-oriented; we love to get to know you long before putting you in front of the lens. This helps us to capture your story authentically, and design custom pieces that instantly transport you back in time.

Every once in a while I step outside the studio. Not often, but just enough to keep things interesting.

This little guy first came to see me for his newborn session, after we photographed his mama’s maternity portraits. And now here we are celebrating his first birthday. Getting to see babies grow from tiny newborns into curious little humans in just one year is one of the best parts of this work.

For his birthday session we did something a little different and photographed everything right in their living room. Mom created the sweetest backdrop on the wall that said “It’s fun to be 1,” and she even made the cake herself. The whole setup felt so personal and joyful.

And can we talk about the size of him? The last time I saw him he fit perfectly in my arms. Now he’s already wearing 2T clothes. One year moves at lightning speed.

Stepping outside the studio like this is always a fun creative challenge, and getting to celebrate these chapters with families I’ve photographed from the very beginning makes it even more meaningful.

As I finish editing this gallery, I keep coming back to this frame.

Just your hand and theirs. No distractions. And somehow it says everything.

It’s always the close ups that stop me. The tiny fingers wrapped around you. The scale of it. The proof of how small they once were and how deeply they’re loved.

One day, you’ll look back at this photo and wonder how that little hand ever fit so perfectly in yours.

Wayback Wednesday ❄️

A snowy session from a few years ago that still feels like a dream.

We began in studio, warm and safe. Then we peeked outside… and the snow was falling in thick, perfect flakes.

So we layered up. A client closet gown. A fur stole for mama. And out we went.

Cold fingers. Warm hearts. Completely worth it.

This newborn session was officially off to a very good start!

One of the very first photos I took was greeted with one of the biggest newborn smiles I’ve seen in a long time. The kind of moment that instantly tells you it’s going to be a special session.

And a little behind-the-scenes note, because it matters: that cozy bucket pose is always done with safety at the forefront. Dad was right there, gently supporting her tiny head the entire time. His hands can be seamlessly removed in Photoshop, while baby remains fully supported throughout the setup.

Safety first. Always. 💗

Here’s what I learned during this maternity session: pink smoke bombs are adorable… and they also dye literally everything in their path. Including my pristine white faux-fur cape.

Was it worth it? Absolutely. I’ll take a stained cape any day if it means capturing this kind of joy for a family.

But next time? We’ll be keeping a respectful distance from the smoke. Lesson learned… and my cape agrees. 😂

From bump to baby 💕
We had the honor of photographing this sweet girl before she was even born, and it was such a joy to meet her earthside. Surrounded by soft pinks and floral touches, she was calm and cozy in her parents’ arms.

What a beautiful full circle moment for this little family.

A family of December babies, soon to be one more!
We celebrated this beautiful season of waiting with a simple, timeless studio session on white. Just love, laughter, and the excitement of knowing Christmas will be extra special this year. ❤️

💨 Signs Your Baby Might Be Gassy 💨

1️⃣ Firm tummy — their belly feels hard or tight (full of gas and maybe a little tender).
2️⃣ Super straight legs — your baby’s stretching out to make room for trapped gas.
3️⃣ Fussy for “no reason” — their tummy hurts, and it’s a brand-new feeling for them.
4️⃣ Tiny gurgles or rumbles — that’s gas trying to escape!

✨ What You Can Do:

Check the latch: If your baby’s lips curl inward while feeding, it can let extra air in. Gently use your finger to uncurl them so they look like little duck lips.

Try “bicycling” the legs: Move their legs in a cycling motion, or gently press knees toward the tummy — it helps get things moving!

💛 Remember: A little gas is totally normal! You’re doing great, and your baby will feel better soon.
